Wine Street
Wine Street

The challenge

Helping two co-founders define the way forward

The solution

Using design thinking games to bring out ideas, expectations and barriers

Description

WineStreet was founded by two entrepreneurs with different backgrounds. The project: Hosting wine tours and events with a taste of some of the best organic, biodynamic and natural wines around the German Southwest. After a year of existence, this young and sustainable company was looking for a communications expert to support their growth. The first action I took was hosting a design thinking workshop with the two co-founders. The goal was to bring out their ideas, expectations and barriers concerning their project. We used 3 so-called "innovation games": Shape the Tree, Show & Tell and Remember the Future.

KPIs

  • A 4-hour-workshop using design thinking methods
  • Shape the Tree = picturing the key aspects of WineStreet as a company, as well as the expected results.
  • Show & Tell = understanding WineStreet's personae and their perception of the company.
  • Remember the Future = understanding the co-founders' definition of success and shaping the necessary steps to get there.
